Esbat Rite
WORKING PART OF RITE. THE YIN YANG SYMBOL.

Tonight we will be working with this special symbol to find what meaning it has for us as a Coven & individually. We know that it represents the positive & negative creative & destructive forces in the Universe, one cannot be without the other, for they in a sense give birth to each other.

The symbol itself represents the perfect balance between the positive & negative forces. To attain this perfect balance within ourselves we must have perfect control over our bodies; mind, emotions & the spirit, for only then can the Soul within make contact with the lower self.

We as a group & as individuals have all recently gone through trials & tribulations which have brought in their wake, ill heath on the material plane, emotional upheaval on the emotional level, confusion, fear & indecision on the mind level & withdrawal on the spiritual level. It is therefore imperative that we bring back the balance in our lives so that we can work as a group effectively.

Tonight we will attempt to bring back that balance into our individual lives through meditation & visualisation. We will use our relaxation exercises & breathing exercises to prepare us for the meditation. But this is only the beginning for we will have to follow up tonight's work with constant banishing of negative thoughts, do short daily meditations to calm us when we become over emotional & also see to it that we eat a balanced healthy diet & take some form of exercise.

The Yin Yang can mean many things to many people, examples are: The Spiral of Life, The Wheel of Life, dark & light, hot & cold, summer & winter, the Goddess & God, the Higher & Lower self, the two hemispheres of the brain, [right & left brain], active & passive, the male & female parts of self, the spiritual & material side of our nature, the positive & negative traits of our Zodiac Sign etc.

Relaxation.

Breathing.

Close your eyes and concentrate on the Yin-Yang symbol & allow your own ideas to flow.

We will also look within self to see where we as individuals are out of balance, then analyse why & how we can correct it, for our own Spiritual Path is being effected by this disharmony.

See the Yin-Yang symbol glowing at your feet, gradually draw it up each Chakra to the Crown Chakra, when you are surrounded with light send the symbol out into the Universe where it will shine like a beacon to others in need & give them strength.

N.B: After the meditation please write down anything you think is of value to yourself or the group.

REMEMBER what we send out comes back to us, for others are attracted to what we are vibrating at or repelled by it.

*As a Coven we can protect ourselves on the Higher Planes but we ourselves must do the physical protection & inner healing. We cannot operate fully if we are unbalanced in one or more aspects of self, be they mind, emotional level or ill health due t o some neglect or effect from the emotion or mind level. In our daily communications with loved ones, friends & the general public, our negativity reaches out like cancerous tentacles & effects all those who move in & out of our Auric space. We owe it to ourselves & those we make contact with & this includes our pets, plants & minerals, to be healthy in mind, body & spirit.

We will at this point release all our negativity into the Earth, by pointing our athame or finger at the Earth & silently ask Gaia to change it for the good of all.

In the 7th part of the exercise we will hold hands & embrace our neighbours on both sides with love & understanding by extending our Auric field. * See them surrounded by healing light, & the light moving rapidly forming a vortex or spiral of light moving upwards.

During this phase we will collectively send love & understanding to absent Coven & Outer Circle members by concentrating on the candles that represent them.

Now release hands & individually send loving thoughts to all loved ones & friends in need. Place your head & both hands on the floor to indicate you are finished with the work.
