Initial Speech-Notices

As guardian before each lesson from now on there will be a short period for

coven notices which will also apply to all who wish to join the coven or just

attend lessons.

Lesson meals or simple feasts

It is a coven rule that everyone brings something to eat or drink, to share

with the others. At festivals and esbats, initiations, etc you will be

expected to supply food and drink. [that means alcohol or non-alcoholic

stuff] No alcohol may be taken before any rite or meditation! [parties after

not before] For every coven gathering you will be expected to confirm at

least 2 days before.

Initiations

It is been previously said that one can be initiated, either into the coven

or into a higher degree, by being invited or by petitioning yourself. It must

be noted however that one is not automatically excepted just by petitioning.

The following facto rs will determine whether you will be ready for the next

initiation, whatever it may be:

1. Participation in lessons and festivals

2. Co-operation with other members

3. Book of Shadows must be up to date and hand-written

4. Computer notes must be neatly filed for convenience

5. Correct equipment for initiation must be present

6. Tardiness will not be tolerated, if you are late you will miss the

ritual. If you are not feeling well or can otherwise not attend

please notify us beforehand. [unless you are the one to be healed in

a healing rite]

Lessons

As a training coven the lessons are for your convenience, please use this

opportunity to make notes so that you might add them to your Book of Shadows.

Please feel free to ask questions and comment on the lesson.

As this is a training coven those of higher degrees must please be patient

with the work done on a particular evening even if it is very basic for you.
