COVEN & OUTER CIRCLE / STUDY GROUP BONDING.
Often new students are horrified with the hug & kiss they receive when they
arrive for the Lesson night & depart once again.
This is partly our nature & mostly a part of Coven Bonding or unity, a
forging of ties within the group.
It is important for a group of people who are to work magic or do any ritual
work together to become friends & trust one another.
Coven members eventually become like an extended family, over the months &
years, we are all part of the Seasonal Round, we are present for each others
Initiations & Life Initiations, & Esbat Rites. We not only rely on each other
in our daily lives b ut also during our magical work
Your Coven brother or sister will listen to your problems, laugh & cry with
you, give you sound advice based on our teachings when you are too emotional
to cope, be there for you when you are ill or depressed & will share their
last crust of bread wi th you, when you are in need.
Those Covens that work Sky Clad for the Summer months will have to work even
harder at this bonding, for each should feel comfortable & at ease during the
Rites.
Those in the Outer Circle are encouraged to exchange phone numbers &
addresses & to get to know each other socially.
Coven Social Evenings & Outings are there to help you get the ball rolling &
get to know & trust each other. You will have to learn to work as a team as
the weeks & months go by, so let down your reserve & extend your hand in
friendship to all those who attend Lesson Nights & Festivals.
Remember that we are all students of the occult & children of the Lord &
Lady, we need your questions & input each lesson night.
If you have a speaking part in any ritual, please try to learn your part by
heart, it will help with the flow of the rite. Those of you not having a
speaking part are requested to push energy into the rite & help those who are
doing the 4 Quarters et c. by visualizing with them. Each one will be given a
turn to be a officer of Coven during the Festival rites.
When meeting a fellow Pagan, greet them with a hug & a Merry Meet! There is a
saying that goes something like this:
" Every one needs 3 hugs a day to stay healthy & wise, so, hug at least three
friends each day, if you only have one friend, hug them three times."
Remember what you send out, returns to thee three fold.
BLESSED BE.
