All Cones are God fertility & war symbols, use in fertility rites,
harvest rites, sex & love rites, banishing & protection rites & as
a symbol of the God on shrines & altars.
CYPRAEIDAE:
All cowries are Goddess symbols, use in fertility & harvest festivals, use
to draw money & luck, use altar & shrine symbols

FAMILY: Nuculidae, Arcidae, Glycymerididae, Pinnidae, Mytilidae, Anomiidae,
Isognomonidae, Limidae, Pteriidae, Ostreidae, Pectinidae, Spondylidae,

& the larger ones are used to hold things in ritual. Example: incense,
oil, herbs, water, seeds. Carry for good luck, Goddess symbol.

FAMILY, Haliotidae: Belong to the Goddess of love, Venus. Hung for protection,
used as incense burner or to hold ritual items needed for rite. Used in love /

can be found world-wide throughout the world. For best results use shells that
have been washed up on the beach instead of those commercially available which
are usually harvested for the shell market, in other words the animals are
killed for profit. This type of shell is of lesser value & those that wish
to use them should do a ritual of release for these beings who had their life
spans cut short by
ABALONE:
General use; used to contain empowered herbs, magical potpourri, to hold
stones, cakes, & other offerings or as an incense burner.
CLAM
SHELL: Use as above, also used for purification & love / sex spells. A
