HOME REMEDIES. 1.
CARBUNCLES, ABSCESSES & BOILS.
CHICKWEED: Poultice.
COMFREY: [Sympytum Officinals ] use leaves & roots as a poultice, 3 cups of
the tea to be drunk 3x per day.
GOLDENROD: leaves used as poultice.
HYSSOP: As above
MARJORAM: As above.
PLANTAIN: As above.
ROSEMARY: As above.
SAGE: As above.
YARROW: As above.
THYME: Use infusion & apply hot.
NASTURTIUM: Seeds are crushed & applied as poultice.
SOAP ALOE: Cut open the leaf & apply the inner part to the area & bind in
place.
FIG: Use a ripe fig, cut open & apply to area & bind in place.
GARLIC: Mince & apply to area. Garlic should also be taken in the diet.
LEMON: Heat a half of the fruit in the oven & apply hot.
PUMPKIN: Cut a thin slice & heat in the open, apply hot.
EGG: Boil an egg, the peel of the shell, now remove the shell from the white
inner membrane & apply it to the area.
EGG YOLK: Beat with salt & apply with a plaster.
SUGAR: Apply sugar & Sunlight soap mixed with a little water to make a paste
& apply to the area.
MILK, SALT & FLOUR: Gently heat 1 cup of milk, slowly add 3 teaspoons of salt
as the milk gets close to the boil, remove from heat & add flour to thicken
into a paste, apply to area.
CABBAGE: Dip leaves in hot water & apply to area.
ONION: Boil & apply hot to the area.
CASTOR OIL PLANT: Apply warmed leaf as a poultice.
RADISH: Slices of fresh radish are applied as a poultice.
HONEY: Mix with a little four & apply to the area.
TOMATO: Use an over ripe tomato, apply & cover, leave over night.
GERANIUM: Apply crushed leaves as a poultice, 3-4 times a day.
POTATO: Use raw as a poultice.
ONION & BREAD: Grated onion a bread are used to make a paste, apply as
poultice.
PINEAPPLE: Grated & applied as poultice.
CARROT: Leaves & root, grate root & finely chop the leaves, apply as
poultice.
MUGWORT: Finely chop the leaves & apply as a poultice.
BURDOCK: Use leaves to make a tea, dip cloth into hot tea & apply to area.
APPLE: Pulp & apply to area.
CALENDULA: Take a handful of petals & melt down a jar of petroleum jelly,
simmer for 15 min, strain & rebottle. Apply 3-4 times a day.

ACHING FEET, ATHLETES FOOT, & ABRASIONS.
ACHING FEET.
CHAMOMILE: Infusion hot for foot bath.
LAVENDER: As above.
CEYLON TEA: As above.
CAYENNE PEPPER: Sprinkle into shoes & socks.
LEMON: Juice massaged into foot & soak feet in cold water.
CASTOR OIL: Massage into feet, cover with cotton socks & leave over night.
TOMATO: Cover the soles of the feet with tomato slices, cover & elevate the
feet for half an hour, rinse in cool water & apply baby oil.
POTATO: Save the water from boiled potatoes, & use it cold to soak your feet
in when they are burning or itching.When your feet are tired use the potato
water hot, then apply almond oil, put on cotton socks & raise your feet for
half an hour.
BAKING SODA: Add half a cup to foot bath for sore & smelly feet.
WORMWOOD OR WILDALS: Place leaves in shoes & socks, never use nylon shoes if
smelly feet are a problem.
METHS: Rub into feet after a warm foot bath.
CIDER VINEGAR: Soak for 10 min. For sore swollen feet.
GRAPE VINEGAR: As above.
SALT & GLYCERINE: Soak feet in strong salt solution hot, then rub glycerine
in well.
SESAME OIL: After afoot bath, rub oil in well.
BAY: Add 3-4 leaves into hot water, soak for 15 min.
ATHLETES FOOT.
Comfrey ointment daily for 3 weeks.
Bathe feet in your own urine & let dry, use daily it disappears.
ABRASIONS:

FOOT BATH: Cold water & ice cubes for 1 min, dry & walk up & down to warm
feet again,then restfor an hour. [ water should be ankle high. ]
PRESSURE METHOD: Press thumb against the roof of the mouth for 4-5 min, every
so often move your thumb to another place.
RUBBING METHOD: Vigorously rub the second joint of each thumb for 2 min on
the right hand & 2 min on the left hand, until you have done it 5 times per
hand. Use hand lotion or oil to eliminate friction.
PRESSURE METHOD 2: Place thumbs on each side of the spine at the neck, close
to the skull & press gently but firmly.
MASSAGE METHOD 1: Using warm olive oil or conditioner, massage the scalp in
circular movements to relieve tension headache.
MASSAGE METHOD 2: Gently massage the shoulder & neck area with Lavendar oil
or 15 drops of Lavendar Aromatherapy oil in a cup vegetable oil.
HEADACHE TEA RECIPE: Use 12,5 ml of the following herbs, Rosemary, Lavendar,
Peppermint & Lemon Balm to 750 ml water, bring to the boil & remove from
stove. Leave to cool, drink 125ml every hour for 3-4 hours.

CAPERS & HONEY: Place a handful of capers in a jar of honey, wrap bread dough
around jar & bake in a low oven for a hour. Take 2 spoons 3x a day.

in a warm place for two weeks. Take 2 tablespoons 3x a day.
BLUE GUM : The leaves are smoked or inhaled in steam.
COLTSFOOT, Tussilago farfara: Leaves smoked.

MULLEIN: Make tea of the flowers, honey & mint.

APRICOTS: Eat 3 apricots a day while they are in season.

HONEYSUCKLE FLOWERS & HONEY: Add as many flowers as you can to a bottle of
honey, leave one week, then take 2 teaspoons per day.
GINGER: Boil up a thumb length in a litre of water & sweeten with honey & sip
frequently.
VERBASCUM / Mullein, [ Verbascum thapsus]: Add honey to tea made of this herb
& Rooibos tea.
VIOLET: Make tea of flowers & leaves, add honey to taste.
LEMON: Use plenty of lemon juice in the diet, bake fish or chicken in it, use
fresh in the form of homemade lemonade, over salads, mushrooms, meat, fish
POTATO: Boil potato peels remove from stove & inhale.
GINGER PRESERVES: Use in diet.
HORSERADISH: Mix 1 teaspoon grated with 1 teaspoon honey & take before
bedtime.
CORN OIL: 1 teaspoon at bedtime.
PAW PAW PIPS: Smoked.
HEMP / MARY- JANE: Used in Holland for asthma, banned substance.
ONION: Slice 2 onions into a jar, pour over 1 pound of honey, let stand over
night, take as needed, before bedtime & half an hour before each meal.
WATER CRESS: Put leaves into a medium sized canned fruit bottle. In a
saucepan put 1 bottle of brown vinegar & 1 medium jar of honey. Let simmer
till you have enough water left to fill the canned fruit bottle, let stand
over night, strain. Use 1 gl ass per day.
COMFREY ROOT; Grate roots in your salads for 6 weeks.
GARLIC SYRUP: Separate & peel 3 garlic bulbs. Simmer in a non aluminium pan
with 1 pint of water. When the garlic is soft & there is about half a pint of
water left remove cloves & place in jar. Then add half a pint of cider
vinegar & 3 tablespoons o f honey to the water left in the pan. Boil mixture
until it becomes syrupy & pour over cloves in the jar, cover & let stand over
night. Dose: 1 or 2 cloves with a spoonful of syrup every morning on an empty
stomach.
ASTHMA TEA: 250 ml of the following; Verbascum flowers & leaves, Violet
flowers & leaves, Comfrey flowers & leaves & the juice of 1 lemon. Pour over
2l boiling water, stand, steep, cool then strain, sweeten with honey. Dose; 1
cup 3x per day. Keep ex cess in the fridge & warm when needed.
