Feathers, magical & craft use
†††††
FEATHERS, MAGICAL & CRAFT USE.
The magical qualities of feathers are determined two ways, by their colour &
by the bird from which they came. If white feathers are dyed, then they also
take on the quality of the plant matter's vibration. [Do not use chemically
dyed feathers for ritual work] It is best to use feathers found by yourself,
[in other words gifted to you by the Element air ] for ritual use rather than
to buy them, as they are may have been chemically treated there by diffusing
their energy & replacing it with the chemical energies which may not be in
harmony with the work you have in mind. Feathers given to you should be
regarded as second hand magical items to be cleansed & recharged by self.
Never harm a bird to obtain a feather.
Many birds are associated with specific Gods, feathers can also be used to
represent the Element Air on your altar or shrine.
